Community Theatre Works Best When
You Get Involved
Join your local community theatre, Geneva Theatre Guild, as we present our exciting 2010 season program. Community theatre is not only an education in all aspects of theatrical production, but also a fun way to meet like-minded members of your community. Ways You Can Get Involved
The Quickest Way to Get Involved: Buy Tickets!
Where would we be without our audience? On a very lonely stage, that's where. You and your fellow audience members breathe life into a production and are an essential part of a vital performance. The fastest way for you to show your support is to buy a ticket and bring a friend along!
Make a Donation
We actively seek out grants and sponsors, but donations from our members are of vital importance. Membership levels are as follows: Angel ($100 and up), Producer ($50 and up), Director ($25 and up), and Stage Hand ($15 and up).
Volunteer
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in every area of production, including carpentry, scenic painting, lights, sound, props, costumes, makeup/hair, stage management, run crew, and orchestra. If you're interested in front-of-house activities, we can always use ticket takers and ushers, and we can also use help writing grants, handling publicity, selling ads, and so on. If you're an expert, great! If you're not, don't worry; we'll teach you what you need to know. An extra hand is always welcome.
Audition
Are you an experienced actor or just looking for your first show? We hold open auditions to cast our shows, which means everyone is welcome to try out. Auditions are announced on our website and in local publicity, so watch for the announcement.
