I Do! I Do!: Continuing with a proven record of hits, GTG returns to Belhurst Castle for a dinner theatre production with universal appeal. The story of a marriage is at the center of this intimate and nostalgic work by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the authors of The Fantasticks. The show begins with Michael (Kris Whiteleather) and Agnes (Joanne Saracino) on their wedding day and traces their life together over a period of 50 years, until the day they leave their house to the next pair of newlyweds. Rochester Director Dianne Schaumberg will direct. Deb Hodgeman of Clifton Springs will be Music Director. Deb has performed in many area productions as Music Director and actress. She was last seen with GTG in Arsenic and Old Lace and Playwrights Playreadings. Playwrights Playreadings: Last year the Geneva Theatre Guild received over 100 submissions of original, unpublished one-act plays from all over the country for this wonderful program. After a selection committee rates the plays, 3-5 will be chosen to perform in staged readings. Theatre After Hours: Every so often the Geneva Theatre Guild fits a fifth production into its schedule and this year we have created Theatre After Hours for the Smith Opera House Cabaret. The evening of adult fare will start at 8:30pm and include four one-act plays, comical and dramatic, selected for their slightly mature themes. La Cage Aux Folles: The 2007 Season of Surprise Summer Musical is big, splashy, a bit racy, and you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck. It's also a safe bet that the final curtain will leave you with a smile on your face and a song on your lips. The film The Bird Cage starring Robin Williams, based on this musical, was a huge success. Award-winning director Steve Duprey will direct. The Queen of Bingo: Where can two sisters on the other side of fifty, who want to add a little zest, fun and excitement to their lives, find it? Bingo! On any Bingo night at St. Joseph's, you can find Sis and Babe. They dish the dirt, giggle like school girls and share old memories. Performances will be at the Sons of Italy Lodge Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. Award-winning director Ruth Legg will direct.
